Yamaha V Star description

This bike has 9,750 miles and is in great shape.  There are some small marks on the tank that are not apparent in the pictures.  They could be removed with some polishing effort.  The front fender has a small scratch that I tried to show in the pictures.  Tires are checked.

This is a clean good running low mileage bike!

Has cobra pipes and windshield installed.  Sounds great!  Comes with and storage cover.

I am not the original owner but a friend of mine was.  This bike has been maintained well through the years.

It will be available for pickup only.  $500 deposit due with purchase.  Payment in full will be due within Seven Days of sale end.  Pickup within 14 days or contact me for other arrangements.

Contact me for any other questions.

2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.

Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
