*** PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW *** 2001 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic TRIKE. The trike kit is an added accessory and can be easily removed if the buyer wants to. The bike has slightly over 12K miles and runs and rides excellent. There is a small blemish on the left rear fender where the paint was scratched off. The rear tire will need to be replaced soon, and the windshield has some oxidation. The bike is current on tags and inspection. The original tools come with the bikes, A new battery was installed earlier this year/ There is no warranty expressed or implied on this used vehicle. Conditions of sale - Buyer will pay $500.00 deposit using PayPal within 48 hours of auction closing. On the day agreed for pickup from seller, will meet the seller at the local vehicle tag office. The buyer will place insurance on the trike and pay the necessary fees to register the vehicle in his/her name and pay the title transfer fee.

Yamaha released a new microsite teasing the launch of two models, expected to be the production versions of the YZF-R25 (or perhaps YZF-R3 for certain markets) and the Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter. Of the concept models Yamaha announced it would introduce at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, it was the heavy-duty looking XTW250 RYOKU concept that drew the most attention from our readers. Here we have new photographs of Yamaha’s “SUV motorcycle” from the show floor of the Tokyo Motor Show courtesy of Colum Wood, editor of our sister site Autoguide.com, who was in attendance. Yamaha describes the XTW250 RYOKU concept as an “unrestricted, anytime, anywhere” mobility vehicle offering performance, operability the capacity to carry heavy loads.

Andrea Dovizioso Signs with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2012

The Tech 3 MotoGP team has reached a one-year agreement with Andrea Dovizioso, signing the Repsol Honda factory rider to take Colin Edwards’ place on the Yamaha satellite team in the 2012 season. Dovizioso will join the Tech 3 Yamaha team after three years with the Repsol Honda team. Despite currently holding onto the third overall spot on the 2011 championship points standings with five podium appearances and 13 top-five finishes in 15 races, Dovizioso found himself the odd man out with Honda which will stick with a two-man factory team of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa with Marco Simoncelli riding a factory-supported Honda RC212V with the Gresini team.
