Yamaha V Star description

2004 Yamaha V Star Custom, Super Nice V-Star, Mustang Seat, Sissy Bar, and a Exhaust! - Lean and mean and low-slung is the name of the game here, with boulevard bad boy styling and a price tag that will make one wonder why they waited so long to take one home. Comes with a pavement-skimming, 27.4-inch seat height and long, 64-inch wheelbase . And 40 cubic inches of genuine V-twin muscle, tuned just right to pump out serious torque from idle on up through a low-maintenance shaft drive . Then, of course, there's the look: bobtail rear fender; hidden, hardtail-like rear suspension; drag-style handlebars and beefy forks. Unbeatable styling that screams the Star Family name. And, like its Classic sibling, all at a price that will have you screaming for joy.

It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.

Yamaha Sketches out the Features on the New 2010 YZ450F [Video]

Thu, 10 Sep 2009

You’ll realize how cheesy that headline is after watching the pretty rad video that Yamaha has released. Yamaha’s new motocross bike has taken a radical new approach.  The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive.  Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.
