Great bike. Only 12,800 miles. Brand new tires with less than 100 miles. Lots of extras make this a sharp ride! Pictured without the windshield but its here. Sissy bar, vintage Harley saddle bags, custom air filter, and more! (The saddle bags ive had for 20+ yrs so they went on this bike too) We have kids now so we only get to ride a couple times a year. Time for someone else to enjoy this beautiful ride! Lots of get up and go and after market pipes make it nice and noticeable. Feel free to view and inspect this great bike before auction end. New inspection sticker will take you till june 2017. Extra driving lights are key for riding at night. So many great things about this bike, sad to see it go but even sadder watching it parked! Cyril Despres Signs with Yamaha
Thu, 30 May 2013Five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres has signed on with Yamaha Motor France to race on the Yamaha YZ450F. Despres won the Dakar Rally in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013 with KTM but parted ways with the Austrian manufacturer in March. For 2014, Despres is trading in KTM Orange for Yamaha Blue, riding with support rider and fellow Frenchman Michael Metge.
Yamaha M1 Engines Available for Leasing for 2014-2016 MotoGP Seasons
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Yamaha announced it will offer a leasing arrangement for its YZR-M1 engines to teams interested in racing in the MotoGP World Championship. The Japanese manufacturer has signed a leasing arrangement with MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports to supply engines for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons. Racing teams will be able to lease a Yamaha M1 engine on a per-year basis for their own race bikes.

Mon, 19 Dec 2011The battle between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo from Catalunya was one of the most memorable and thrilling races from recent years, a definite candidate for one of the Greatest Grand Prix races - ever. Passing Lorenzo at the final corner was the defining moment that is still talked about today, but for me the most incredible and bold pass made by Rossi in those final few laps was out-braking his former Yamaha team-mate around the outside into turn one.
