Yamaha V Star description

Thanks for your interest in my VStar 650 Custom.  I purchased it about 5 years ago from the original owner with about 750 miles.  It now has close to 14000 and I’ve still been riding it a lot this spring.  I really like it but I purchased a dual sport bike last year and won’t be keeping this bike.

I’ve done all the maintenance myself and used Mobile 1 V-Twin motor oil Full Synthetic for the oil changes.  I did replace the tires a few years ago and have the receipts for the replacement.

It’s all original and in great condition.  It does have a passenger bar + luggage rack which is currently not on the bike.

I'm not able to ship the bike so you would need to make arrangements to pick it up.

I do have the bike listed locally and this auction will be cancelled if the bike sells.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.

You. Call. That. Lean

Fri, 14 May 2010

Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.
