Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
In short I am selling this motorcycle for my father. He had a stroke three years ago a month after he bought this bike from its original owner in PA. My dad is a Navy veteran and never had the chance to take the army stickers off. It was in storage in my garage until last fall when I had a tune up done at Primo Cycles in Frederick where they cleaned the carbs and put a new battery in and replaced all the filters.
I do not ride a MC with sidecar so I can't tell you a whole lot about its mechanics other than it does have a brake and I dont think the brake is hooked up. the sidecar is made by Velorexports. I m 6'5" and there is plenty of room for me. There is also storage behind the seat that can fit luggage out of the elements. Over all the bike is in good shape runs strong and would be a great cruiser even without the sidecar. The only thing I can see wrong with it aside from a few scraches and normal wear is that it will need new tires. They are probly the original ones and are starting to sun crack. any questions email or call You are welcome to come look at the bike first in Frederick MD Alex 240-405-7790 |

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.

2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.
