Up for auction is my 2007 Yamaha Vstar 650 Silverado. Miles are a little over 13,000. New professional paint job last fall. Carbs just rebuilt and the bike completely serviced. New battery last fall. Comes with all the yamaha accessories shown. I have owned it for about 3 yrs. now and due to other projects I want to sell this motorcycle. (please check out my youtube video on the Yamaha). The tires are 75%. Nice ,great running, well balanced motorcycle. Great acceleration and is fun to drive. All the gauges, lights, electrical items work as intended. I have the Bike for sale locally so it may sell early. If you have 0 or poor feedback email before bidding. A deposit of $500.00 is due within 48hrs and balance to be paid by cashiers check or money order no later than 7 days after auctions end. It is a used vehicle sold as is with no warranty. Tue, 22 Apr 2014The new three-event GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented by Yamaha is gaining steam as Dynojet Research has stepped up to provide sponsorship for the Pro Sportbike class. Dynojet will also have its popular dyno performance truck on-site for race support. Devised to fill an 11-week gap in professional road racing between mid-March and late May, the Superbike Shootout was inspired by the successful British Superbike Championship series.
Yamaha Reports Q1 2013 Results
Tue, 14 May 2013Yamaha Motor reported a 3.7% increase in net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. Net sales from motorcycles increased by 4.6% despite an 8.1% decrease in unit sales. Overall, the company reported a profit of 7.5 billion yen (US$73.3 million) over the quarter, down from the 27.0 billion yen reported last year.

Thu, 14 Feb 2013Yamaha reported a 5.4% decrease in net sales for 2012 and a 72.2% decrease in profit but the Japanese manufacturer says it is poised for a dramatic recovery as it begins its “New Medium-Term Management Plan” for 2013-2015.
