For sale is my 2008 V Star 1300, with No Reserve. I bought this bike new in 2008 and ended up laying it down in August of 2009. Due to the accident I replaced the handlebars, gas tank, front fender, headlight, front turn signal, and front mirror. The only other things I changed on the bike are the smoke colored turn signal lenses, added floorboard extenders (because I am tall), and drilled out the exhaust baffle. After fixing the bike I rarely rode it and it sat in the garage most of the time. The last time I started it was about a year ago. I'm not sure what all will need to be done to get it on the road but I'm assuming a good cleaning, replacing all fluids and a tune up at least. The tires and belt are original and have never been replaced. There is some scratches on the right side of the gas tank and some chips on the brackets the mirrors mount to. Overall the bike is in good shape. It has only 2454 miles and would be a good winter project for someone. Bike is sold AS IS/WHERE IS with No Reserve. I have a clear title in hand, winning bid takes it. The bike is in West Columbia, SC (29169). $300 deposit must be made by the highest bidder within 24 hours of the auction ending. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Tue, 02 Oct 2012Along with the announcement of the updated 2013 FJR1300A, Yamaha also announced that its naked middleweight roadster, the FZ8, has received a handful of updates for 2013. Key among the modest improvements is revised EFI programming for smoother, snappier throttle response, and front suspension is now full adjustability. The fork has new preload and rebound adjustments atop the fork legs, while a new compression damping adjuster is located at the bottom of the fork.
