Remus are offering a slip-on exhaust for the 2010 Yamaha Super Ténéré. The new Super Ten exhaust from Remus comes in two options, the stainless steel hexacone retails at £370 and offers 1.6kg of weight saved on the stock OEM exhaust with a power increase of 7.5bhp. The second choice for the Yamaha's big adventure bike is the lighter titanium hexacone, the can offers the same increase in power but saves 1.81kg in weight.

Yamaha reported a 5.4% decrease in net sales for 2012 and a 72.2% decrease in profit but the Japanese manufacturer says it is poised for a dramatic recovery as it begins its “New Medium-Term Management Plan” for 2013-2015. Yamaha has released a new video of the 2012 YZF-R1 featuring MotoGP racer Ben Spies taking the new bike with Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary limited edition livery to a track day. Spies who won the 2009 World Superbike Championship on a Yamaha R1 so he is obviously very familiar with the sportbike which will now be available with a seven-level traction control system. Spies appears a little bored as the other riders learn the layout of the track and when they get to the track, he calmly waits while they take off around him before dropping the hammer and showing them how it’s done.
