I'm the original owner of this bike. never one problem with it. have added a few things over last couple years as listed: Yamaha saddle bags Yamaha back rest Yamaha windshield lowering links 0-3'' black mirrors 240 rear tire have blacked out a few chrome pcs as well Should have most of stock parts around. I'm getting out of biking for awhile to focus on a few more family activities, hate to see it go but will make someone very happy, and not to mention try getting one of these at this price :)...... Cyril Despres Signs with Yamaha
Thu, 30 May 2013Five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres has signed on with Yamaha Motor France to race on the Yamaha YZ450F. Despres won the Dakar Rally in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013 with KTM but parted ways with the Austrian manufacturer in March. For 2014, Despres is trading in KTM Orange for Yamaha Blue, riding with support rider and fellow Frenchman Michael Metge.
Kenny Roberts R1 Auction Nets $87,000 for Charity
Mon, 22 Aug 2011The one-off GYTR-equipped Yamaha YZF-R1 ridden by “King” Kenny Roberts at this year’s U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca was auctioned for $87,000. Roberts and late night television star Jay Leno were the special guest auctioneers for the R1 at Mecum’s Motorcycle Auction in Monterey, Calif.

Mon, 27 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak was snapped, KTM scored its second series win and Cole Seely impressed as an injury replacement for Trey Canard as the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship landed in Atlanta, Ga. Racing for the American Honda Muscle Milk team, Seely nabbed the holeshot and led the opening seven laps before finally being overtaken by Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey. Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto had a poor start by his standards, finishing the first lap in sixth place.
