Yamaha V Star description

Runs great and Mustang seat makes a long ride real comfortable.  Three detachable saddle bags. New battery and oil change in June. She's got some miles on her at 41K, but lots of highway - not so much from pub crawling. Moving up to a bigger bike - otherwise wouldn't part with her. Awesome starter bike for a man or woman - gas mileage is great!  We're in Western NC, close to Asheville.  Would consider riding part of the way to meet you - otherwise buyer responsible for shipping. Thanks for looking!  **NO RESERVE**

$8,000 Custom ATV up for Grabs at ATV.com

Thu, 02 Jul 2009

Our sister site, ATV.com, is ready to give away the Yamaha Raptor ATV they’ve been customizing over the last few weeks. They took a base Yamaha Raptor 250 valued at $4,499.00 and modified it into an $8,000 beast!  Why they just don’t keep it in the office to use for coffee runs is beyond me. They’ve slapped on new air filters, mufflers, new alloy wheels, new tires, front bumper and grab bar, skid plates, nerf bars, new grips, new seat cover, new plastics, and more!

Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.
