Dakar 2014: Cyril Despres’ Yamaha YZ450F Rally Revealed
Wed, 18 Dec 2013Yamaha revealed the livery for its YZ450F Rally racer, the machine Cyril Despres will ride in his quest for his sixth Dakar Rally victory. Despres will lead a factory team which includes Michael Metge, Olivier Pain and Frans Verhoeven to South America for the 2014 Dakar Rally which kicks off Jan. 5.

Tue, 23 Apr 2013The morning after riding his Yamaha M1 to a sixth-place finish at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi landed in Charlotte, N.C., to race around another track; only this time there were no right turns. (UPDATED with additional photos.) Rossi met up with NASCAR racer and fellow Monster Energy-sponsored athlete Kyle Busch to ride Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch, winner of the last three Nationwide Series races, gave Rossi a walkaround of his car before taking the Yamaha factory rider around a few laps of the Charlotte Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval.
Larry Pegram’s EBR 1190RX AMA Race Livery Looks Sharp!
Wed, 05 Mar 2014In January news broke that Larry Pegram would be teaming up with Erik Buell Racingto race the 1190RX in AMA Superbike. At the time no official photos were revealed, but that’s all changed as Pegram posted these pictures of his completed 1190RX in full race livery on his Facebook page. These photos were captured during team testing in Florida, and the colors show off the all-American design motif.
