1997 Yamaha WR250 Dirt Bike Recently rebuilt. Less than 50 hours of run time after re-build. Runs Great!! For those of you that don't know this has a two-stroke/cycle engine. Very enjoyable trail bike. The headlight and running tail light work. Here is what was done to it: New piston, rings, wrist pin, top and bottom crank bearing. Crank was serviced by Crank Works in Tempe, AZ All new seals and gaskets in the engine All new bearings in the engine and transmission All new power valve governor assembly All new power valve and power valve holder assembly New Radiators New water pump Rebuilt rear shock with new seal head installed Rebuilt front forks New chain and sprockets New steering head bearings Rebuilt front forks New clutch New skid plate Buyer arranges shipping or pick up in person. Zero-mile, still crated Yamaha RZ500N for sale
Fri, 31 Jan 2014This brand new, unregistered, never-even-been-fired-up Yamaha RZ500N has been revealed in the warehouse of a motorcycle dealer in Australia. We know it was the RD500LC but over in Australia (and Canada) it was called the RZ500N. It comes exactly as it arrived from Japan, with two keys, the service manual, mirrors etc.
Yamaha, Honda Donate to Thailand Flood Relief Efforts
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Honda and Yamaha announced relief aid for the people of Thailand affected by severe flooding that has swamped large parts of the country since late July. Yamaha and its Thai subsidiaries are donating a relief package worth about 30 million yen (US$390,000) including 3,000 life jackets. Yamaha is evaluating what items to provide including outboard motors.
2012 Yamaha YZF-R1 Video Featuring Ben Spies
Mon, 26 Sep 2011Yamaha has released a new video of the 2012 YZF-R1 featuring MotoGP racer Ben Spies taking the new bike with Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary limited edition livery to a track day. Spies who won the 2009 World Superbike Championship on a Yamaha R1 so he is obviously very familiar with the sportbike which will now be available with a seven-level traction control system. Spies appears a little bored as the other riders learn the layout of the track and when they get to the track, he calmly waits while they take off around him before dropping the hammer and showing them how it’s done.
