Hi, due to unforeseen circumstances im selling my beloved 2009 yamaha wr250 r. i have had it for a little over a year now. I am the 3rd owner. the 1st was a retired fireman and the 2nd was a police officer. I purchased it with 1400mis, and it now has 4200 mis on it. I mainly have driven short distances back and forth to school. never taken it off road, but i can only imagine how it would handle. it handles like a dream on the street. top speed is probably around 95. has fmf pipe and exhaust system. also the tail lamps and the turn signals have been changed. I still have all the original parts that will be included in the sale. Overall it is in good condition. 2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date. The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA).
Yamaha Champions Riding School August Update
Tue, 05 Aug 2014Our friends at the Yamaha Champions Riding School have been busy lately. Since moving to New Jersey Motorsports park in April, traffic has steadily risen, with June being sold out and July not far behind. August is very promising with some new ideas (one-day clinics to bring a more economical program to a larger group of riders) being inserted into the mix as well as a normal two-day school at the end of the month, which is already 80% full thanks to the yearly visit from the engineering department of Harley Davidson. Following August YCRS will have two schools the week directly after the AMA Pro races at NJMP.

But the Rizoma ProGuard system has helped secure the levers of Toni Elias on his road to championship success in the inaugural Moto2 season. The example above was on an attractive Rizoma-enhanced BMW S1000RR, but the lever guards are not limited to sports bikes, they were also visible on Yamaha's FZ8. The patented design can tilt up to 10 degrees providing full lever coverage and can be added by simply replacing the bike's existing bar-ends.
