You are buying a 1972 Yamaha XS650 motorcycle. This bike is a project and will need work to be road worthy. I have picked up a bunch of Yamaha xs650 stuff over the last couple years and am now listing it all on ebay, so check out my other auctions. The motor turns over and is not stuck. I do not have a title for it, ebay's listing tool does not have a way to select "not title" . If you have any questions, please feel free to email me through ebay. I am willing to store the bike for a month if you need me to, but payment is required within 7 days of the auction closing. I am willing to ship the bike using the shipper of your choice. Josh Hayes To Wear RS Taichi In 2014

The three-time AMA Pro Racing SuperBike Champion will be protected by RS Taichi racing leathers and gloves while aboard his Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike. After a long-standing relationship with Teknic, his previous protective gear provider who ceased operation last year, Josh had an opportunity to go in a new direction.
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
2012 Yamaha YZ250F Announced
Thu, 09 Jun 2011Yamaha revealed its 2012 YZ250F motocross bike with a number of updates. The 2012 Yamaha YZ250F gets several engine refinements including a new 39mm carburetor, compared to the 2011 version’s 37mm carb. The piston and piston pin are said to be lighter, while the connecting rod and counterbalancer are also new.
