Have a stock/original 1975 Yamaha XS650 that was tucked away in 1997. After 16 yrs of sitting with the exhaust valves in the open position the valves/guides have seized. The pistons move freely, but will need exhaust valve work, or install a good pre-owned head. Probably a better buy for a XS650 enthusiast who's familiar with these bikes and may already have a pre-owned head or other XS650 projects. Morning commuters in Barcelona got a little surprise yesterday from Yamaha and Jorge Lorenzo as the reigning MotoGP Champion and his crew re-created their usual race start ritual on a public street in front of the iconic Sagrada Familia. The roar of Lorenzo’s Yamaha YZR-M1 drew people’s attention as mechanics, data engineers and a lone Brolly Girl emerged.
