Yamaha XS description

For sale is my custom built 1978 xs-650. I built this bike last year and it has been rode very little since restoration. It has a hard tail frame, freshly rebuilt engine, custom paint with vintage Indian theme, powder coated rims, new tires, new cables, new wiring, polished aluminum on the engine, brass rear turn signals, vintage ship light for headlight, running boards, Indian fender light, custom made fenders, new extra wide beech handle bars, new battery, vintage brass three tube bulb horn with original bulb that blows, Harley Davidson fuel tank, vintage montgomery ward tool boxes, custom air cleaner box with electrical switches and gauges in the side of it, new fish tail straight pipes. This bike runs like new. It starts by electric start or crank (your choice). It rides and handles like a dream. It is a fun bike to ride and gets lots of attention. Nothing at all wrong with the bike that I am aware of. It is ready to ride any distance. Reason for selling is because I love to build bikes and can not keep every one I build. I have more photos ( or a video of it starting and running) I can email you. Bike is for sale locally. Buyer responsible for picking up or arranging and paying for shipping. I can help load bike or meet locally for pick up. Payment is cashiers check or cash !!! Bike can not be picked up until paid in full and cashiers check clears the bank, so if you want to pick up the bike when you come after it bring me CASH!!! Payment must be made within 7 days... Thanks for looking.

Kenny Roberts Joins Inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

We’ve posted several articles over the past few months about the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIME) because the motorcycling public is invited to attend what looks like an industry/trade show. And we’re not the only ones excited to check it out. Kenny Roberts, perhaps the best-known American motorcycle racer of all time, has signed on to the AIME show as “American International Motorcycle Champion.” In this role, Roberts will serve as the proverbial face of AIMExpo, joining in the celebration of the inaugural show with the entire powersports marketplace – industry, trade, media and consumers.
