For your consideration is this stunning Yamaha XS650 Bobber / Chopper crafted by Martin Brothers Customs Texas , less than 1,000 miles since built ,this motorcycle rides as nice as it looks and never fails to draw a crowd ,taking first place in every show it has been entered in locally . Yamaha knew what they were doing when they designed this engine ,then it was placed in a hardtail frame hand crafted by the Martin Brothers and has an eye popping candy over gold paint job that looks as if it has been poured over every sweeping line and topped off with white and gold flames that are finished with green pinstriping ,over $6,000 invested in the paint alone . Cyril Despres Signs with Yamaha
Thu, 30 May 2013Five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres has signed on with Yamaha Motor France to race on the Yamaha YZ450F. Despres won the Dakar Rally in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013 with KTM but parted ways with the Austrian manufacturer in March. For 2014, Despres is trading in KTM Orange for Yamaha Blue, riding with support rider and fellow Frenchman Michael Metge.
2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 Faces Recall for High Engine Idle
Wed, 27 Nov 2013Yamaha has initiated recalls on the 2010 R1 in several markets because of a problem with the wiring harness causing high idle speeds. As of this writing, recalls have been announce for Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom. No recall has been announced for the U.S.

Fri, 14 Feb 2014Around here, it’s no secret we’re fans of the Yamaha FZ-09 (MT-09 for those reading this outside the U.S.). It’s a great do-it-all motorcycle, and for $7990 it’s a great value, too. Apparently, Mark Toia is well aware of how useful the FZ-09 can be as well.
