Yamaha XS description

Great running 750 Special/Triple.  New tires with zero miles. Carbs cleaned and synchronized at same time new tires put on.  Has K&N air filters (pods).  Do not have the original air cleaner box or filter.  $200 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of purchase and balance of purchase price due within 7 days of purchase.  Buyer responsible for pickup or shipping.  I can assist in loading.

Also have a 1980 Yamaha XS850S, with clear title, vin 3J2002230, that I will include if the "Buy it Now" option is used.  The engine is seized, missing carbs, side covers, seat, and tank.  Otherwise good condition.

Intermot 2012: Yamaha Unveils Crossplane Triple Concept

Yamaha announced it is developing a new three-cylinder engine using a crossplane crankshaft inherited from the company’s YZR-M1 MotoGP bike and its YZF-R1 sportbike. Yamaha says the new Triple will play an important role in the company’s future. The Japanese manufacturer unveiled a concept sculpture with the new three-cylinder engine at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany.
