Yamaha XS description

1978 yamaha xs 750. Bike runs great for a bike this old. No leaks and no smoke. Runs extremely strong and is fast. Many new parts. Just add a cafe seat and tail and you will have a beautiful cafe racer. Tank is in really good shape and so is the paint. Fairly new tires, fresh oil, new plugs/caps/wires, intake pods, cafe bars, has black bars installed now but will include chrome. Needs some attention to detail such as having the idle adjusted. Once the bike is warm it tends to idle high. Carbs and petcocks were totally rebuilt last year. I and the previous owner put alot of time and money into bringing this bike back. Many hours of service and finding original parts. I recently installed new ignition coils. When the bike hasn't been run in a while, it takes a little while to kick over. Probably normal. Normal wear and tear for a bike this old. I get alot of compliments on it. Shifts perfect. Really nothing wrong with it, i just have to get rid of a few toys. Too much to say....any questions please ask....thanks....and as you can see my feedback is 100%. I dont b.s. about anything i sell.  More pics to come.

Full Kerker exhaust. Hard to find and very nice loud sound. Best exhaust ever made for this bike.

Please not: bike is dusty and dirty from riding. I didn't get a chance to spray it down before i took the pics. Also when i took the cover off it today, the cover caught on the rear blinker and bent it. Cost maybe 10 bucks to replace. I dont have time to wire it up. Still works perfectly. Also you can see i have installed a custom flex led strip for the brake light. Looks really sharp at night. Also oil on the ground in the pics is NOT from this bike. It was from the car or whatever was parked in my reserved space before i rented it. Bike will look great once i spray it down.
