Here's something you don't see everyday. An early 80's (1980 to 1982) Yamaha XS 1100. This bike ran great, but I stopped riding it around 10 years ago. The fuel tank was beginning to leak. This bike is an excellent candidate for a restore itself, or can be used as a parts bike. Take a look on ebay to see the price of the parts for this bike. If someone was looking to buy the bike and sell it as parts, there's a lot of money to be made here. I have a few pictures up. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. The crouched riding position and murderous amounts of power may not be ideally suited for the London grind, but with plenty of track action planned I have to make some compromises. There are three fresh colours to choose from.

Tue, 18 Dec 2012Last week, we wrote about retired Formula One racer Michael Schumacher taking part in a track day at France’s Paul Ricard circuit on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s Hottrax Endurance Championship.
