Yamaha XS description

Up for auction is my one of a kind custom chopper / bobber. Tons of money in new parts. Runs, shifts, and rides as it should. This bike has not a single issue. It currently only has a front brake installed which I have rode all summer with. I have the parts to complete the rear brake which will be included with the sale. Besides the actual frame, wheels, and motor, basically every part was bought brand new this past winter. It is a great around town bike and highway cruiser as well.

1980 TITLED frame, CT registered currently.
1978 650 motor with pamco ignition and PMA setup (kick start only, starter is still on the bike but is no good and not wired up, mileage is unknown, motor has good compression and runs excellent)

Tc bros hard tail
peanut tank
Stainless 2 into 1 exhaust
Drag bars
La Rosa Design solo seat
Brand new vintage firestone replica tires
Cross drilled front rotor
K&N filters
Battery delete (capacitor setup)
Smaller rear sprocket (32T)
Tons of extra parts which include bars, fender, pieces to finish the rear brake

Please email with any questions, Id be happy to take specific pictures of things or speak on the phone if necessary.

Rich Oliver’s Mystery School Still Has Open Dates

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Many roadracing champions will tell you that training in the dirt has helped them immensely in becoming the best rider they can be. The drastically reduced grip in the dirt makes a rider feel more comfortable on the street when one or both tires start slipping. At the Rich Oliver’s Mystery School, five-time 250cc champion, Rich Oliver, will teach you how to gain confidence on two wheels, all from the controls of a TTR125 Yamaha.

John Reynolds: Riding Masterclass

Fri, 17 Dec 2010

When I first started racing about a thousand years ago, my local stomping ground was a place called Three Sisters near Wigan.  It wasn’t glamorous but it was brilliant. An hour from home and with about a million corners crammed into just a km of tarmac. The Three Sisters was a reference to the three coal slag heaps that had once occupied the site before.

2013 Yamaha XJ6, XJ6 Diversion Updated for European Market

Thu, 30 Aug 2012

Yamaha has revealed an updated version of its XJ6 including its faired Diversion and Diversion F versions for the European market. The XJ6 models were first introduced in Europe in 2009 as the latest member of Yamaha‘s XJ series and a replacement for the FZ6 as a middleweight all-arounder. In recent years however, Yamaha Motor USA decided to keep the slightly sportier FZ6R in its lineup and pass on the XJ6 models.
