2005 Yamaha XT225 Dual Sport Motorcycle. 6084 mis.third Owner. Bike always stored indoors. 223cc, Single Cylinder, four stroke engine, air-cooled. Front disc brake.Great beginner bike or for smaller riders like me. Weighs less than 250 pounds. Great commuter bike.Brand new Rear Tire with XHD tube less than 200 mis, Front tire has less than 1k miles.Averages around 45 miles-per-gallon. Basic insurance for me cost about $21 per month (Geico)Moose extra-large hand guards, extra-large footpedals.Dual 12 volt outlet on handlebar for GPS, charging cell phone or heated gloves. Rear brakes could be freshened up. Battery will need to be replaced in the spring. I changed the oil and filter at the beginning of the summer. Chain also cleaned and re-oiled. It starts and runs good. Ready for the road. Very motivated seller. Moving soon and can't take the bike with me. I have title in hand. No liens on the bike. Blue book has the bike listed for over $2100 in fair condition. I will also include a newer pair of Fox 180 dirtbike pants and Answer Fazer Boots. I have taken good care of this bike for the short time that I've had it (bought it in last August). Colin Edwards Joins Forward Racing CRT Squad for 2012

Colin Edwards will join the Forward Racing team to compete in the 2012 MotoGP season as a Claiming Rule Team entry. Edwards, known as a good development rider and an even better quote machine, is the first rider to officially sign on with a CRT. Forward Racing may be more familiar to some race fans by its former name, Hayate Racing, the outfit that ran the Kawasaki ZX-RR with Marco Melandri in 2009 after Kawasaki pulled out of MotoGP racing.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
