Yamaha YZ tech info
Yamaha YZ description
1997 Yamaha YZ80 motocross bike in excellent running condition. This bike is 80cc water-cooled 2 stroke powered with a 6 speed transmission. FMF Shorty performance muffler, it has a strong power band and when you hit the gas, you better be holding on. Front and rear disc brakes, no leaks, seat and plastic are in good shape, tires have plenty of life in them. Excellent suspension, even for me at 210 lbs. NO evidence of a crash or damage. This is one of the best 80's out there. My kids are grown and have moved on to street bikes, so Im passing it on to someone that will ride it. You can get a free shipping quote at Funtransport.com and I have used them several times with no complaints. I will deliver to a loading dock in Omaha, Nebraska for NO extra charge. I can also store the bike in my shop until it is picked up, as long as it is paid for in full, again at no extra charge. Bill of sale only as this is an offroad machine and does not have a title.

Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP
Fri, 23 Aug 2013Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.
Video: Catalunya 2009, that pass
Mon, 19 Dec 2011The battle between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo from Catalunya was one of the most memorable and thrilling races from recent years, a definite candidate for one of the Greatest Grand Prix races - ever. Passing Lorenzo at the final corner was the defining moment that is still talked about today, but for me the most incredible and bold pass made by Rossi in those final few laps was out-braking his former Yamaha team-mate around the outside into turn one.
