2002 Yamaha YZ 250 - NO RESERVE Auction! 2002 Yamaha YZ 250 with California GREEN Sticker. This is the last year of Green Stickers for two strokes. This is a very clean bike that runs perfectly. Well maintained and needs nothing. The bike is in excellent condition, starts easily, and lots of explosive two stroke power. Local desert and trail ridden, not raced motocross. It's a great bike and I hate to see it go, but I made the move to a big four stroke and I can't keep both. Bike is basically stock with only the following bolt-on modifications: Allied Fork Clamps, Gripper seat cover, ProTaper handlebars and pad, Pro Circuit Works exhaust pipe (no dents), Pro Circuit R-30 stainless steel silencer/spark arrester, Carbon frame shields, Anodized (blue) aluminum rear sprocket. No engine modifications. New fork seals, new front brakes, recently replaced chain (O-Ring). Comes with everything pictured:

Yamaha Files Trademark Application for FJ-09
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Yamaha‘s next three-cylinder motorcycle may be a sport-tourer, if a recently-filed trademark application is any indication. The Tuning Fork brand filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the name “FJ-09” as it applies to “Motorcycles, scooters, three-wheeled scooters and structural parts for all the aforesaid goods.” Following Yamaha’s usual naming conventions, the signs indicate the trademark will be for a new sport-touring model using the same Triple as the FZ-09. Yamaha has made it clear it plans to introduce more three-cylinder engines following the FZ-09 (or MT-09, as it is known in Europe.) Previously-filed trademark applications for the YZF-R3 and R3 names raised speculation the next triple would be a sportbike, but as per Yamaha’s usual naming convention, the “3″ in R3 is likelier to refer to the engine displacement rather than the number of cylinders.
Runaway Bus Crashes Into Russian Yamaha Dealership

A similar incident happened last weekend in Russia after a runaway bus plowed into a powersports dealerships that sold Yamaha, Can-Am and Honda products. Yamaha has made it clear the Bolt Café is only a reference model to showcase the customization potential of the Bolt. At its heart remains the Bolt’s 942cc V-Twin engine and double-cradle frame.
