Up for sale is a mint 2013 Yamaha YZ 250F. This was a local race bike that was just built. It has 8.9 hours on it. Factory Connection suspension, new tires, ICW radiators 25mm offset clamps, pro taper bars and grips, arc levers, brand new fx pleated seat cover, news graphics, vortex ignition, the engine almost brand new as well, cosworth piston, custom crankshaft by Crankworks, gytr head and cams, transmission has been polished, gytr clutch basket inner hub and pressure plate, FMF exhaust, 37mm fcr carb with race spec jetting, oversized front brakes, works connection holeshot device. Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?
Thu, 05 May 2011Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
3J’s Charity Track Day Raises $30k
Fri, 02 May 2014Since 2003, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have generated nearly $450,000 for charity. This year, the event’s 20th annual, 3J’s raised more than $30,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities. Nearly 120 riders converged on Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California for a day of riding around the 12-turn, 2.28-mile road course.
2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.
