Master Of Torque: Motorcycle Anime By Yamaha Final Installment

If you’re into motorcycles, big, puppy dog eyes, dramatic Japanese dialogue with English subtitles, and subliminal Yamaha references then check out Master of Torque, Yamaha’s original anime series. The final installment in the three-part series is set to release tomorrow. Set in Tokyo, Japan in the year 2017, three years before the city’s hosting of the 2020 Olympic Games, the show focuses on the exploits of three young motorcyclists and highlights Yamaha’s FZ-09 and FZ-07.

The multiple AMA superbike champ, who's racing for the first time on many of the MotoGP tracks, reveals he spends most of Friday practice learning the circuit, while others are focusing on set-up and fast lap times. Honda and Yamaha Pledge Support to Typhoon Victims in Philippines

Honda and Yamaha each offered aid to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines earlier this month. Initial estimates put the death tool at over 10,000 but Philippine President Benigno Aquino says the actual number maybe closer to 2,500. Still, the United Nations says more than 11 million people were affected by the typhoon, with about 673,000 displaced from their homes.
