....2003 Yamaha YZF600R "Thundercat" in silver and black. Google this model if you are not familiar. This has been a great bike for me, has never let me down but it's time to let it go. Has 12,050 miles.
Starts, idles, shifts and rides great. I've had a lot of fun with this bike but have not ridden it hard, no wheelies, burnouts, stunts or wrecks, it's been well taken care of. Oil change to Lucas full synthetic plus K&N oil filter, coolant flush and change and new gold 530 DID chain all less than 50 miles ago so all of that's basically brand new. I just polished it with Honda spray and polish and used 303 Aerospace protectant so it looks great. Has Dunlop sportmax qualifiers front and rear that still have a lot of life in them. Has excellent sounding Yoshimura pipe, Zero Gravity windshield and flush turn signals up front. Also has a great Flosser horn that works wonderful if you're concerned about getting cut off by anyone in traffic. This bike is ready to go you won't have to do anything to it. Clear title. Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.

We know it was the RD500LC but over in Australia (and Canada) it was called the RZ500N. It comes exactly as it arrived from Japan, with two keys, the service manual, mirrors etc.
Lorenzo Signs Two-Year Extension with Yamaha
Thu, 07 Aug 2014Two-time MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has signed a contract extension with Yamaha to see him race on the company’s factory team through the 2016 season. The signing comes as no real surprise, following similar two-year contract extensions for teammate Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Ducati also confirmed it would field Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone next season, so unless Lorenzo wanted to spend a season or two developing Suzuki‘s or Aprilia‘s new prototypes, Lorenzo’s only option for a factory ride was to re-sign with Yamaha.
