Up for auction a 2005 Yamaha R1 Raven, I am selling only because Im starting a new business and need a new truck and tools more than a bike right now. As you can see its in great condition. Mature Adult 2 owner bike, heated garage stored in winters. New Pirelli Angel GT high speed rated tires with approx 1800 highway miles. Bike has 18,040 mostly highway miles with several trips to Indianapolis @ 1000 miles per long weekend trip. Brake fluids flushed and replaced, Oil changed and 58 point safety inspection completed when tires were replaced. Willing to personally ship up to 500 miles from Iowa City Iowa for $1 loaded mile. MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.
2015 Yamaha YZF-R25 Revealed for Indonesian Market
Tue, 20 May 2014Yamaha revealed the production version of its 250 sportbike, the two-cylinder YZF-R25. Manufactured in Indonesia, the R25 will first be offered in that market before being exported to other markets including other Asian countries as well as developed markets in the west. The production model stays close to the prototype R25 revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show last fall.
