For 2005 Yamaha gave the R6 more horse power, a fully-adjustable inverted fork with 41mm tubes and wound up engineering a nearly new motorcycle due to 
new camshafts, bigger throttle bodies, improved fuel injection, revised intake funnels resulting in a smoother, fatter powerband with three more horsepower at 13,000 rpm, 310mm front disc brakes, radial calipers and a radial master cylinder to even further exploit the R6’s amazing front-end feel,a redesign of the main frame to accommodate new rear suspension linkage and more.

This 2005 Yamaha R6 with a low 8609 miles is one of Yamaha's most popular sellers. Outstanding good looks and tons of tire burning power. This bike runs, rides and shifts like new. The fairings are in great shape and free from any damage or scratches. The tires look good and still have tons of tread. We just performed a fresh oil change, replaced the air filter and installed new plugs. This R6 is ready to ride today. After a close inspection we did find some scratches on the bikes left side on the exhaust canister, frame slider and mirror and some peeling paint and corrosion on the front rim but other than that this bike looks sharp.
