2006 Yamaha Yzf-R6 , 2006 Yamaha YZFR6, 50th Anniversary Edition. 10500+ miles. I bought it used as the 2nd owner from the Yamaha Easy Living, in Rome, Ga. Bike is in excellent condition, routine maintenance done, very well taken care of. Garage kept. Tires still have a lot of tread. Exhaust sounds great, video cant do it justice. Thu, 13 Sep 2012Yamaha announced new 2013 colors and graphics for its flagship sportbike, the YZF-R1. Beside the three color options, the 2013 Yamaha R1 returns unchanged, after getting a new seven-level traction control system in 2012. The three color options for 2013 are Matte Gray, Rapid Red and Raven, and the Team Yamaha Blue and White.
Isle of Man TT 2013: SES TT Zero Results
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Motoczysz captured its fourth consecutive TT Zero at the 2013 Isle of Man TT, setting a new official record for electric motorcycles by averaging 109.675 mph on the Mountain Course. Michael Rutter piloted the Motoczysz E1PC to a lap time of 20:38.461 for his third straight TT Zero win. Finishing second as he did last year was John McGuinness on the Mugen Shinden Ni, with a time just 1.6 seconds slower than Rutter, with an average speed of 109.527 mph.
2013 AMA Superbike Daytona Race Report
Mon, 18 Mar 2013The story leading up to the opening round of the 2013 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike season was whether anyone would be able to keep up with defending champion Josh Hayes. After all, the Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider dominated the competition last season winning 16 of 20 races including a string of 10 in a row. The season-opening round at Daytona International Speedway appeared to start on script with Hayes qualifying in pole position.
