This bike is in good condition and runs great.
It has a custom muffler with awesome sound. The bike has a +2 gear change in the rear sprocket and a 520 chain. The custom muffler and chain make the bike about 20lbs lighter. The bike also has ASV brake levers, a brand new battery, a rear seat, and a racing cowl. There are two small scratches: one on right lower fender and one on the tail. The title is clean and on hand. Yamaha Quitting World Superbike Racing After 2011 Season
Mon, 01 Aug 2011Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.
Greg Tracy to Ride Amarok P1A Electric Sportbike for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Canada’s Amarok Racing has secured quite a coup in signing six-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Greg Tracy to ride its P1A electric superbike for the 2013 edition of the event. Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.
