Yamaha YZF-R description

2009 Yamaha YZF-R6, A good clean bike with low miles. If your looking for a sportbike, this is it.A nice balance of power and maneuverability. - TRACK READY, STREET SMART The 2009 R6 is designed to do one thing extremely well: get around a race track in minimal time. It’s about a screaming, 15,000-rpm-plus fuel-injected four-cylinder engine in a taut chassis that lets it snap from upright to full lean instantly. Oh yeah: It’s a great street bike too.

And now Yamaha is jumping into the fray with an update to its popular TMax.

In the quarter ended March 31, 2012, Yamaha sold 1.599 million motorcycles worldwide, down from 1.689 million motorcycles sold over the same quarter in 2011. Most of the decline was due to Yamaha’s performance in the Asian market.

NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.
