Thanks for looking at my beautiful Yamaha YZFR1 sport bike. This thing is stupid fast standing still! Has never been dropped or crashed. An absolute beast. Not your dads Harley. I purchased this motorcycle with 314 miles on it. I have added a few performance modifications, some of the more notable are the FULL titanium Akropovic EVO exhaust system, Marchesini magnesium alloy wheels, Vortex rearsets with brake light switch, Bazzaz ECU, 530 chain/sprocket conversion, Vortex keyless gas cap, ASV front brake and clutch levers, Renthal aftermarket clip on handlebars and renthal road grips plus more! This motorcycle has been such an awesome piece of machinery. It simply goes too fast, if there is such a thing. Yamaha Customer Information Leaked – Personal Data for 607 Japanese Customers Compromised

According to Yamaha, personal information for recall and product improvement measures was leaked byYamaha Motorcycle Sales Japan Co., the manufacturer’s domestic group company. The information including names, mailing addresses, vehicle names and VIN, and dealership information for 607 customer accounts in the Aichi, Fukuoka and Kagoshima prefectures were received by an anonymous third party via fax on Nov.

Recall for 2009-2011 Yamaha V-Max
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Yamaha is issuing a recall campaign on certain 2009-2011 V-Max power cruisers due to a potential risk of oil pump malfunction. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, abnormally high oil pressure can build up within the oil pump of certain Yamaha V-Max models. The high pressure may force the washer on the oil pump shaft against the oil pump housing, causing oil to stop pumping through the engine.
