Yamaha YZF-R description

Regretfully selling my 2014 Yamaha R6 with only 9477 miles on the odometer. I bought the bike new in 2014 with a maintenance plan from the dealer which has done all scheduled maintenance on it. I have the paperwork from the service department to prove this.  The bike is in excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. The pictures speak for themselves.

THE BIKE HAS THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES
-Full  M4 exhaust system including headers. Sounds very good and makes excellent power
 -K&N Air filter
-Power Commander tuned by Yamaha of Cool Springs
-Yoshimura Rear fender eliminator
-Frame Sliders
-HID Headlights
-HotBodies Racing Smoked windscreen
-Short Brake and clutch levers
-Carbon Fiber Vinyl mirrors
-Carbon Fiber Vinyl Tank protector
-Carbon Fiber Vinyl Gas Cap trim
(all pictured)

The bike makes nearly 20 more hp TO THE WHEEL  than a stock R6. It is very fast. I have the dyno sheets to prove this.
There is nothing wrong with this bike. I am selling it in order to go back to school this fall without too much debt. Title in hand, serious buyers only. NO SOLICITING.

2014 AMA Supercross – Las Vegas Results

Mon, 05 May 2014

Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.

Rumor: Yamaha Developing Inline Three Roadster

Wed, 25 Jan 2012

French motorcycle outlet Moto Revue reports Yamaha is developing a new three-cylinder middleweight. Citing an internal Yamaha document, Moto Revue reports the new naked model will feature an inline Triple engine, aluminum perimeter frame, upside-down fork and a triple-pipe exhaust like the MV Agusta F3 and Brutale 675. Yamaha has produced a Triple before, offering the XS750 from 1976-1979 before replacing it with the XS850 in 1980 and 1981 (pictured above is the 1981 Yamaha XS850.) The potential new model is still likely to be years away, so its look is yet to be determined, though Moto Revue does have a rendering that borrows some of the design elements from the FZ8.

AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
