For those of you not familiar with the crazy Derek Specials, i've been doing this for years and a lot of people absolutely love it. All the crazy Derek Specials start at $1 and never have a reserve. I lose on some and win on some. These are always sold as is and I will describe them the best I can. Along with my own evaluation, I also have a mechanic go over the vehicles. Not every scratch and dent can be noted, so please bare with me. I post Motorcycles, ATV's, PWC's, Scooters and snowmobiles. As always, good luck bidding!

 This Crazy Derek Special is a 1999 Yanaha R1. This R1 fires right up and runs just fine. It can be driven the way it sits, but please read the entire listing as I would recommend doing a few things. As I said, this fires right up and runs the way it sits. I would recommend changing the front tire in the near future along with the chain and sprocket being worn. The steering head is a little loose and the fork seals have a slight leak. The fairings are scratched and it does appear that this bike has been down. The frame is in OK condition, but the case has been JB welded (see last couple pics). I didn't see any leaks, but I have to mention it. The last thing I noiced was that one of the side stand bolts os loose and needs to be tightened. Overall, this would be a great bike for someone that knows how to fix a few things. Whether it be a first time sport bike rider or someone looking for a parts bike or just cruising around to save a little gas. For the price of this, it would be a great bike.
