2004 Yamaha Yzf450 , 04 YZ450F, excellent bike for the novice or advanced. Kick and go, bike is in great running and cosmetic condition and is equipped with a full FMF system, power bomb header and Q4 slip on with forest approved spark arrestor. Front tire almost new back has well over half life remaining, chain and sprockets are newer and in great condition, as well as the front and rear breaks. Bike just has a fresh oil and oil filter change, air filter and coolant change. Great compression and valves done about 6-8 months ago, and since has only had maybe 10-15 hours put on it. My reason for selling such a great bike? I have way too many, and the significant other wishing to see one go... $2,400.00 8057049397

45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

Isle of Man TT 2013: SES TT Zero Results

Motoczysz captured its fourth consecutive TT Zero at the 2013 Isle of Man TT, setting a new official record for electric motorcycles by averaging 109.675 mph on the Mountain Course. Michael Rutter piloted the Motoczysz E1PC to a lap time of 20:38.461 for his third straight TT Zero win. Finishing second as he did last year was John McGuinness on the Mugen Shinden Ni, with a time just 1.6 seconds slower than Rutter, with an average speed of 109.527 mph.
