The paint is original just removed decals to give it a cleaner look. K_N filter, 1-3 in lowering kit however is only been lower by 1in, you can put it back without taken the dog bone off. Flush mount front turn signals. Frame sliders. Integrated rear turn signals and brake lamps. Fender Eliminator Kit. 520 chain conversion with new sprockets -1 in front +2 in the rear. Great low end. Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?

A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.

Yamaha is debuting a new heavy-duty utility motorcycle concept at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show. Described as the “SUV motorcycle”, the Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU was designed to carry heavy loads for both on and off the road. The concept’s name suggests it may share elements of Yamaha’s XT250 and TW200 dual sports.

Kenny Roberts Joins Inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo

We’ve posted several articles over the past few months about the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIME) because the motorcycling public is invited to attend what looks like an industry/trade show. And we’re not the only ones excited to check it out. Kenny Roberts, perhaps the best-known American motorcycle racer of all time, has signed on to the AIME show as “American International Motorcycle Champion.” In this role, Roberts will serve as the proverbial face of AIMExpo, joining in the celebration of the inaugural show with the entire powersports marketplace – industry, trade, media and consumers.
