Yamaha YZF description

2000 Yamaha Yzf-R6 , Blue R6 with 23,000 miles. In great working order as a mechanic just did a once over and replaced all fluids. Bike is stock. Buyer will pay for shipping if you are out of the area or I will meet you with the bike in an agreed upon place near Minneapolis. Bike was dropped 5 years ago, only cosmetic damage. Bike runs and operates perfectly fine. Only issue - gas light doesn't always turn on when low fuel. I reset the trip odometer each time I fill up. If you're near town and want to view before bidding - no problem, send me a message.

What you are watching is a highlight of Mike Hailwood's segment from the racing documentary Take it to the Limit - A Motorcycle Odyssey. The Yamaha - built by the extraordinary Kel Carruthers - that Hailwood is riding in the clip featured a unique frame with the camera housed within. The voice-over recording provided by Hailwood was done by taping a small mic to the bottom of his lip so he could dictate his guide to the 37.73 mile route.
