More Information On The 2014 Erik Buell Racing 1190RX – Video

Thu, 17 Oct 2013

Earlier this week, Erik Buell Racing took the wraps off the all-new 2014 EBR 1190RX at the AIMExpo in Orlando, Florida. A more affordable offspring of the race-derived 1190RS, this RX version packs a lot of punch for a much more reasonable $18,995 price tag.

Starting with the V-Twin engine, the powerful unit makes 185 hp and a whopping 102 ft.-lbs. of torque. EBR also claims a top speed over 186 mph. Along with the 21-level traction control, full-color TFT instrumentation, an LED headlight and the use of magnesium to keep weight down to 419 ready-to-ride (minus fuel), we’ve now learned a little more about the bike thanks to Gary Pietruszewski, head of worldwide sales for EBR.

While the 1190RX definitely has impressive power figures, it also sips fuel while being kind to Mother Nature. What does that mean? Watch the video below to see what Pietruszewski has to say about one of 2014′s most anticipated new models. Stay until the end to find out when you can expect to get your hands on one.
