Polaris Announces Internal Restructuring

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Although the changes will not affect the Indian and Victory sales teams, Polaris Industries announced today that it had merged its sales, sales operations, service, corporate marketing and interactive team to form the Global Customer Excellence team. The new organizational structure will be lead by VP of Global Customer Excellence, Tim Larson.

Vice President of Global Customer Excellence, Tim Larson.

The goal of combining Polaris sales, marketing and interactive operations under Larson is to enable the company to provide greater customer and dealer satisfaction as a means of generating increased sales and sustainable growth. Commenting on the restructuring Scott Wine, Polaris Chairman and CEO, said, “By combining Tim’s extensive background in delivering industry-leading customer experiences with our dynamic, innovative leaders, we have created a unified team capable of delivering the premium end-to-end experience our customers expect.”

In other organizational news, Bill Fisher, Polaris VP and Chief Information Officer since 2007, has scheduled his retirement for the end of 2014. As of January 1, Matt Emmerich assumed the role as CIO. Fisher will remain with the company for the duration of the year and will assist in the transition within the Information Services department. Emmerich, in his ten years with Polaris, contributed to major information services actions involving acquisitions, facility expansions and infrastructure development.
