Yamaha’s Spies, Crutchlow, And Hayes To Sign Autographs At Progressive International Motorcycle Show In Long Beach

Wed, 07 Dec 2011

If you live in the southern California area and are attending the Progressive International Motorcycle Show at the Long Beach Convention Center this weekend, Dec. 9-11, do everything you can to make it Friday before 5:30 as three of Yamaha’s best and brightest stars will be on hand to meet and greet fans, as well as pose for pictures. Yamaha MotoGP rider and former Yamaha World Superbike Champion Ben Spies, Monster Tech 3 Yamaha MotoGP rider and former Yamaha World Supersport Champion Cal Crutchlow, and Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha rider and two-time defending AMA Pro Racing American SuperBike Champion Josh Hayes will all be signing autographs and greeting fans at the Yamaha display. Yamaha has also brought in one of Ben’s factory YZR-M1 racebikes in the same 50th Anniversary GP livery that he raced to his first MotoGP victory in Assen.

All three riders will be available on Friday for one hour starting at 5:30pm. Saturday, Crutchlow and Hayes will return for a second hour-long autograph session starting at 1:30pm. While there, don’t forget to check out the full range of 2012 Yamaha motorcycles on display, including the all-new YZF-R1, now with traction control.
