Vincent de Vos (1829-1875) was a Belgian artist who specialized in paintings of animals. 

Small sized oil paintings were the majority of his works and in his early years in Antique images for which he won many awards from 1848-1852.

We've been advised this miniature portrait of a 16th century child was one of those Antique images!!

Oval frame shows its age and the art is in excellent condition.
