Up for a No Reserve auction is a badass 2008 Harley Davidson Night Rod Special. As a new VRSC model and the evil twin brother of the Night Rod, the VRSCDX Night Rod Special provides wicked style and performance. With an all-black finished 1130cc Revolution powertrain pounding out 120 horsepower and 80 ft. lbs. of torque, the VRSCDX Night Rod Special reflects the elite end of the power cruiser segment. Blacked-out components show a rebellious attitude that rides on a wide 240mm rear tire.

Keeping the Night Rod Special on the dark side are black features like the frame, forks, triple clamps, swing arm and Black Machined Slotted Disc Cast Aluminum wheels with orange pin-striping. Taking the Night Rod Special further into the heart of darkness are a color-matched speed screen visor, brushed Straight-shot Dual exhaust with black end caps and exhaust shields, and a black-on-black racing stripe paint scheme.

V-Rod, is a line of V twin cruiser motorcycles made by Harley Davidson from 1999 until 2017. They are often called muscle bikes for their relatively high power output. The V-Rods are the first Harley-Davidson street motorcycles with double overhead camshafts (DOHC) and liquid cooling.

The VRSC was introduced in 2001 in a single model called the V-Rod aiming to compete against Japanese and American muscle bikes. The V-Rod's Revolution Engine originated with the liquid cooled, four valve per cylinder, overhead cam, 60-degree V twin engine Harley-Davidson created for its VR1000 racing bike;Porsche Engineering with the aid of a few Harley-Davidson engineers, developed the engine.Unlike other Harley-Davidson production motorcycles, the radiator and the hydroformed frame members support the round-topped air cleaner cover. The fuel tank on the V-Rod is located underneath the seat, placing the rider on top of it, rather than the usual frontal placement. The "tank" in this case is actually the cover for the air box and coolant fill port. Loosely based on the VR-1000 superbike, Harley-Davidson built it as a platform for drag racing competition machines. All VRSC models are produced at Harley-Davidson's Vehicle and Powertrain Operations facility in Kansas City, MO.

This Harley Davidson was ordered and sold new at Jamestown Harley Davidson in Jamestown, CA. With only 18k miles this 1 owner bike has been overly maintained and underused. Spending most of the last 15 years used on weekend rides on some world-class California Sierra Nevada mountain roads. The bike has a Thunder 2 into 1 header with authentic Harley VRSC soft Saddle bag as well as a set of higher handlebars and flame handles. The motor runs great and everything operates as it should. FINALIZING YOUR PURCHASE:
