1987 BMW K75S Motorcycle

Pristine condition, All receipts and maint. records have been kept and are available to the buyer. Good tires,
GPS mount (gps unit not included though), Heated Grips, BMW boxes, Griffin Seat.
This bike has penske shocks and the receipts w/dates when bolts where changed. All manuals, all relays checked and rechecked ,spline was re-lubed less then 300 miles ago. Various models of the K75:
- K75 -- a naked bike with no fairing
- K75T -- a US-only touring model with a windscreen, touring bags, engine crash bars, and a rear top case
- K75C -- with a small handlebar mounted 'cockpit' fairing
- K75S -- with sports fixed fairing and lower bars
- K75RT -- with full fairing for 'road touring'
The S and RT versions have a rear disc brake and 17 inch rear wheels whereas the others have a single leading shoe drum brake and 18 inch rear wheels. A stiffer "anti-dive" front suspension was added to the S and RT models. The later RT versions had an adjustable windshield that could be raised or lowered. Some taller riders complained of wind buffeting with the smaller S model stock windscreens.

BMW Reports 14% Sales Increase in US in 2012
Thu, 03 Jan 2013BMW reported sales of 12,057 motorcycles in the U.S. in 2012, representing a 14.0% increase on the 10,572 units sold in 2011. Leading the way was the S1000RR, with BMW selling 1,934 of the sportbikes this year.

BMW Announces Record First Quarter 2012
Tue, 10 Apr 2012BMW announced it set a new record for first quarter motorcycle sales, surpassing the previous record by 5.5%. The German manufacturer sold 24,373 motorcycles in the first three months of 2012, outdoing the previous record of 23,109 units set last year. March accounted for more than half of BMW‘s first quarter sales, with customers scooping up 12,295 units over the month, up 5.3% from 11,675 units sold in March 2011.
