BMW K-Series description

2007 BMW K 1200 GT, Beautiful sport touring machine in excellent condition. I truly hate to sell this gem, it is the best bike I've ever driven, but need the $ for kid's college tuition.

New Michelin Pilot Road-4 tires and new True Gel battery. Extras include: Sergeant heated seats, BMW back case, side case inner bags, gps mount for all phones, Wunderlich wide angle mirrors, extended brake and shift levers, Remus hexacone exhaust, Strebel air horn, clear front blinker kids, Techgrip tank grip, carbon fiber accents, Oberon clutch slave cylinder, Heli handlebar extender, auxiliary front driving lights, and more... Cared for like a baby, waxed monthly, and always garaged and BMW dealer maintained. Awesome ultimate driving machine that must be seen in person to appreciate its condition.

Nevertheless, Interwetten Racing‘s Thomas Luthi, who rides a Honda-powered Suter machine in the Moto2 World Championship is a BMW brand ambassador, and thus, the German manufacturer has produced a limited edition R1200GS in his name.

Ever had an officer ask you “where’s the fire?” after being pulled over for speeding?  Well now you have a good excuse. This converted BMW R1200RT has two 20 or 25 liter tanks (contain a premix of water and foam) mounted on either side that is connected to a 6.8 liter compressed air tank on the back of the bike that has a 20 to 30 meter hose. They are currently being used in the U.K.

EICMA 2012: BMW Announces New Boxer to Mark 90th Anniversary

Tue, 13 Nov 2012

Over the summer, we came across spy photos of a new naked version of the BMW S1000RR and a new air-cooled boxer roadster and hoped at least one of the two would be unveiled at either Intermot or the EICMA. Intermot came and went without a word and now EICMA is upon us we have … well, several words but no new model. Yet.
