This is a well maintained, head turning, K1200LT. I get compliments on the bike all the time. It was purchased from a BMW dealer last summer and at the time of purchase they put in a new clutch, a new front shock, a new rear brake pad (it still squeaks as is hardly used) and all other normal maintenance. It was serviced this Spring, including anew battery, at MAX BMW is Brookfield NJ and only rode is about 700 miles (one of two bikes). Hero MotoCorps Hires Ex-BMW Designer Braunsperger
Mon, 25 Aug 2014Hero MotoCorp has hired former BMW designer Markus Braunsperger to lead the Indian company’s research and development division. Braunsperger once held a similar position with BMW in the early 2000s, developing models such as the K1200S before moving on to BMW’s automobile division where he helped design the 5, 6 and 7 series sedans as well as the X3, X5 and X7 SUVs. Braunsperger will head Hero’s new R&D center in Rajasthan, India, starting in October.
