The footage was shot on-board the BMW Motorrad France Team Thevent machine ridden by Hugo Marchand, in testing ahead of the 2012 Endurance World Championship. He managed to wreck the housing that holds the GoPro camera after only three laps.

40,000 bikers to descend on Garmisch-Partenkirchen

40,000 bikers are expected to head to the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen during the first week of July for the annual BMW Motorrad Days event and you can join them. Billed as a celebration of all things two-wheeled and BMW, the event gives you a chance to test ride all the current BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna models and see stunt-riding world champion Chris Pfeiffer and meet the BMW World Superbike riders. 2007-2008 BMW K1200R, K1200S Recalled for Foaming Brake Fluid

BMW is issuing a recall on the 2007-2008 K1200S, K1200R and K1200R Sport models due to a problem with the front brake hydraulics. In long rides at high rpms, engine vibrations may cause the full front brake fluid to foam. This would occur at a very narrow rev range and only when the brake fluid reservoir is filled to maximum.
