BMW Other description

Greetings everyone. I am unfortunately selling my beloved BMW K1200R. Words cannot justify the harmonious power delivery coupled with some of the finest engineering on this planet this bike has to offer. This motorbike embodies the spirit of the true naked urban motorbike - in my opinion 1 of the most illustrious yet austere designs presented on 2 wheels. With 163HP, she is very generous when it comes to requests for power from the rider in almost any condition. I am happy to say this motorbike has always been garage kept, never been in an accident or a spill, and was purchased with every option imaginable.BMW Sport tinted windscreen , Integral ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM II, White turn indicators, ESA System (electronic sports adjustment suspension with up to nine settings) Garmin Satellite Navigation system, On-Board Driving computer which elucidates ambient temp, AVERAGE MILES-PER-GALLON, AVERAGE Speed, Oil wear reading and a very accurate range odometer, And Luggage Grid. The tyre pressure sensor system was not added due to glitches BMW deemed not worthy of offering that model year (that is what BMW told me). I have three Keys in total (I purchased two from BMW recently). The bike was serviced 100% of the time at the same BMW dealership and all records of service are available upon request. I believe BMW can print out this vehicle s entire maintenance history if so desired. The Tyres have 1 yr left on a 5 yr full warranty that was purchased at dealer.

BMW HP4 Gets New ABS that Works in Corners

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

BMW has developed a new anti-lock braking system designed to work when a motorcycle is leaned over into a corner. The new ABS Pro system will initially be offered as a retrofit upgrade on the BMW HP4 sportbike, but it’s likely only a matter of time before the technology becomes available on other models. The ABS Pro uses the same sensors already employed by BMW’s Dynamic Traction Control and Dynamic Damping Control electronic suspension, both of which are already available on the HP4.

Thu, 31 Oct 2013

BMW is recalling the 2011-2012 K1600GT and K1600GTL in Canada because of a risk of the engine stalling. At the moment, a recall has only been confirmed for Canada, though we expect a similar recall to come for the U.S. market from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
