HERE'S A GREAT RUNNING 1966 R50/2 WITH A LATER R60/2 ENGINE. IN AN LOCAL ESTATE SALE WE PURCHASED VINTAGE BIKES FROM A ELDERLY COLLECTOR IN SOUTHWEST CT. OUR SHOP GAVE THIS BIKE A THOROUGH TUNE-UP, INCLUDING A NEW COIL, CARBS REBUILD, VALVE ADJUST AND RETIMED THE ENGINE. IT'S A ONE KICK START BIKE AND RUNS GOOD. 120 PSI COMPRESSION IN BOTH CYLINDERS. HAS GOOD WORKING ELECTRICS AND HELLA BAR ENDS. TIRES ARE OLDER. KICKER OCCASIONALLY GETS CAUGHT AT TOP AND RELEASES WHEN CLUTCH HANDLE IS PULLED IN. French firm Boxer Design has unveiled a new 1000cc turbocharged V-Twin concept model at the 2011 Salon de la Moto show in Paris. The Boxer Superbob is powered by a 88-degree V-Twin engine claiming 158 hp at 9500rpm and 92 ft-lb. of torque at 8000rpm.

BMW Sets New Annual Record for Motorcycle Sales – With One Month Still to Go

BMW announced sales of 108,872 motorcycles and scooters, shattering last year’s company record for annual sales by 2.4%. Even more impressively, BMW reached that mark by the end of November and still has a whole month’s worth of sales to pad its record. In 2012, BMW sold 106,358 motorcycles and scooters to set a new company record.
